 The City of Barrie's Arts Grants 

 

I have never received a municipal, provincial, federal or private, arts grant.

 

I only ever tried for a personal grant municipally in 2013 and 2014, with which to help produce a tribute to the late Barrie artist, Dan Dunlop. No grants were provided for me, while many of the same individuals who received them before, continued to receive repeated, personal grants.

As a resource, is the complete set of all arts grants memorandums from the year that the City of Barrie began their arts grants in 2006, to the present year.

The years of 2015 and 2016 are combined, as the former Director of Culture did not write a memorandum to Barrie City Council for the awards provided in 2015, and that year's list of recipients' report became an appendix to the report, for the year 2016.
